I’m so glad this info graphic is going around, because so many people don’t realize how ageism and misogyny play hand in hand and how the sexualization of young girls play into this.

I’m not disagreeing with this graph- I really don’t know if this isn’t true or if it is true-
but there is one thing to keep in mind, if you were to make graphs of women’s careers they’d probably look somewhat the same?
like the HUMAN BEING THE GRAPH IS ABOUT AGES- AND THEIR LOVE INTERESTS ARE DIFFERENT ACTORS/CHARACTERS?
again, don’t yell at me- I don’t disagree- I’m just saying this isn’t exactly a good way to look at the stats- now say, if you were to take Movies with couples- and average the ages : the male chars were average of this age, and the women were average another age, then yes, that works.
